What time will the moving crew arrive on loading day?

The moving crew will arrive by 10:00 a.m.  the day of the move, unless you made prior arrangements with your sales associate.

What items will  AAA Heritage not move?

Before your possessions are loaded, it is important to understand which items cannot be shipped because they represent a hazard or are perishable. Click on this link see a complete list of these non-allowable items.

On the day of the move so I need to be present ?

Yes, you will need to be present to instruct the moving crew what to move and where to place items in your new destination.  In addition you need to verify that all items moved reach your new destination and verify that no damages occurred during the move.

If our new home is not ready to move into, do you have storage options?

Yes, our relocation specialists can share our storage options with you.

If our moving dates change, how far in advance do we need to contact you?

Please call us as soon as you are aware of even a potential change in scheduling so we can work with you on rescheduling if necessary.

Will AAA Heritage move valuable items from my home?

Yes, however, you will be required to advise us in writing what valuable items will be in your shipment.  For a list of items considered to be high-value, please click here  items of extraordinary value.

What do I do if I find a damaged item?

Contact your move coordinator at AAA Heritage and inform them of the damage. You will then be asked to complete a claim form.

When will the Household Goods inventory take place?

At the time the mover’s driver loads your shipment, he or she will inventory your shipment listing any damage or unusual wear. The purpose is to make a record of the condition of each item.  After completing the inventory, the driver will sign each page and ask you to sign each page. It is important before signing that you make sure the inventory lists every item in your shipment and the entries regarding the condition of each item are correct.
